This being our first year, this was our first ever Anstey Christmas Gala.  We entered a tree into the Christmas competition, where every bauble had memories of Anstey gathered from our meetings.

Our tree joined many others, which lined the walls of Saint Mary’s church.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill in one of the little blank labels provided and fill in their own memories of Anstey past and present.  Here’s some of them:

We also had a stall in the United Reform Church, where we were selling sweets to raise funds for our next year of talks.  Thanks go to Jane for organising everything and to Kath and Alison who joined her to staff the stall on the day.
